Hi guys! I’m Jaclyn. Besides the basic interests which include my love for food that I’m sure all of you can empathize with, as well as the reliance on music to help preserve my sanity through the trials and errors of high school (LOL) – my guilty pleasure centers on my undeniable love for talenti ice cream while watching Game of Thrones or Teen Wolf in bed. I’m notorious for having a severely inconsistent sleep schedule as well as my constant craving for midnight snacks. Due to my deeply-rooted interest in writing and reading, I decided to take this class in hopes of reviving my interests that have faded over time. By doing this, I aim to pursue my original dream: to become a food journalist and travel the world. As crazy as that sounds, I suppose that all great things start small, do they not?  I hope that I can improve my writing skills as well as my communication skills since they’d largely contribute to the direction I intend to travel towards. Most importantly, I hope that this class enables me to find a sliver of myself and to establish a voice for myself.
