Student Athletes Commit to Colleges [slideshow]

Six students committed to colleges for athletics Wednesday, Apr. 26 on the stage during lunch during a signing day ceremony. Parents and friends of the students gathered in the quad as they all delivered a simple speech and signed the letter of intent. This is the third Letter of Intent ceremony for student athletes at Cam High this year.

Athletics Director, Mrs. Mary Perez, introduced each student athlete and their coaches, congratulating every one of the seniors on their accomplishments.

The six students who signed include Daniel Wetter, who committed to California State University, Northridge for volleyball, Kylee Yturalde who committed to the University of South Carolina for track & field, Michael Rodriquez, who committed to San Jose State University for water polo, McKenna Meaney, who committed to University of California, San Diego for D1 track & field, Jonah Cottrell, who committed to University of California, Merced for basketball, and Nike Reid, who committed to University of Chicago for track & field.
